I am currently an assistant professor of statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Maine. I served as a visiting assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, the University of Massachusettes-Amherst from May 2015 to Aug 2017. I developed research in Bayesian statistical methods for data science, big data and analytics with my research mentor Dr. Erin Marie Conlon,  and the copula theory and its applications research with Dr. Daeyoung Kim. I completed my Ph.D. at New Mexico State University in May, 2015, and my advisor was Dr.Tonghui Wang.
